On March 24, 2025, a film crew from Stern TV visited us on the Neumühlen tugboat bridge to shoot an exciting segment for the planned career and salary special.
They accompanied the FAIRPLAY-95 team for around four hours, with our ship mechanic Darius Dannhauer taking center stage as the protagonist. The filming was a complete success, and the result will be shown in the upcoming Stern TV edition.
In the special edition, which will be broadcast on May 15, 2025 at 8:15 p.m., host Steffen Hallaschka will portray a total of around 25 different professions. He will not only present classic job profiles from hospitals, the police and public transport (e.g. bus driver), but also special professions such as that of a petrol station tenant – and of course that of a ship mechanic, as Darius Dannhauer does here.
The filming went absolutely smoothly and the film crew was extremely satisfied with the footage. Special mention was made of the professional performance of Darius Dannhauer, who was at his best in front of the camera. The cooperation with Captain Philip Hähnke and his crew was also exemplary. Everyone involved helped to make the day of filming a great experience for both the film crew and us.
