On April 27, 2025, it was time again: the Haspa Marathon Hamburg transformed the Hanseatic city into a vibrant running arena. A team from the Fairplay Towage Group took part this year – and with great success – bravely taking on the challenge and achieving an impressive result.
With a net time of 3:39:39 hours, the team ran to 58th place overall and took an excellent 24th place in the “male relay” category. A remarkable achievement that the entire company can be proud of. The months of preparation paid off and the runners demonstrated not only sporting ambition, but also team spirit and stamina.
The Haspa Marathon is one of the largest and most prestigious running events in Germany. Over 30,000 participants, tens of thousands of spectators along the route and a rousing atmosphere made the day a celebration of sport. The 42.195-kilometer course led through some of the most beautiful corners of Hamburg – from the Reeperbahn to the Elbchaussee and the Binnenalster.
The Fairplay Towage Group is proud of its sporting colleagues. The commitment, discipline and team spirit required in everyday working life at sea were also reflected on the asphalt of Hamburg.
