Apprenticeship Finals in Travemünde: Seven Pass, Four with Distinction
On 10 July 2026, seven of our apprentices completed their final exams in Travemünde. All seven passed, four of them with distinction. Tim Dietrich finished as the best of his entire year group.
A milestone worth marking
Completing a maritime apprenticeship takes more than textbook knowledge. It takes time at sea, adaptability under real conditions, and the kind of practical understanding you only build by doing the work. The final exam in Travemünde marks the end of that journey and the beginning of a professional career on the water.
This year’s group represents exactly that. Seven candidates, one shared goal, and a result that speaks for itself.
The results
All seven apprentices passed their final exams on 10 July 2026 in Travemünde: Tim Dietrich, Lesjahn Germer, Oliver Heitmann, Till Ronan Ludwig, Marius Runknagel, Simon Schmidt and Hergen Schumacher.
Four of them passed with distinction, a strong result that reflects both individual effort and the quality of training they received. Tim Dietrich stood out further still, finishing as the best of his year group across the board.
What it takes to get here
A maritime apprenticeship with FAIRPLAY combines structured training ashore with real operations across our ports.
