Responsibilities:

• Monitoring ship movements in German ports
• Advance planning and resolving bottlenecks in scheduling
• Communication with customers and authorities
• Order acceptance and processing
• Coordinating our tugboat fleet
• Regular coordination with tugboat crews
• Pre- and post-processing of towage orders in the computer system
• Working in a shift system (24/7)

Requirements:

• Completed training in the maritime sector or professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the tugboat/mooring business
• Flexibility and resilience under stress
• Teamwork comes naturally to you
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A reliable working style
• Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written)

Our emergency tugboats, NORDIC and BALTIC, safeguarded the German Bight from 2011 to 2021. Today, the NORDIC is stationed off Helgoland in the North Sea, and the BALTIC off Kühlungsborn in the Baltic Sea. The FAIRPLAY-35 also serves as an emergency tug in Stade on the Elbe.
