Your responsibilities:

• Assisting technical superintendents for nautical matters 
• Controlling and monitoring communication between different stakeholders 
• Coordination of class surveys, changes of flag or owner in close co-operation with the respective technical inspectors
• Supporting office & vessel in all respects related to vessels’ outfit with sea charts/nautical publication, equipment etc.
• Arrange courses for shipboard personnel in navigational communication
• Realization of projects with different partners. (internal & external) 
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Merchant Mariner’s degree acc. to STCW95 regulation II/2 and IV/2
• At least 3-5 years’ experience as Master and Chief Mate 
• Desirable experience in the tugboat / offshore environment 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, even in stressful situations
• Team oriented  
• Service mentality and an independent / accurate way of working
• Unrestricted willingness to travel at home and abroad
• car driving license
• Fluent Dutch and English language (oral/written)
